The Guardian's Data Blog seem to have become big fans of using Google Maps and Fusion tables to map large data sets. The latest Guardian map shows the location of Britain's prisoner of war camps in World War II.
The data for the map comes from an English Heritage report, 'Prisoner of War Camps, 1939-1948'.
