Introducing My Places for Google Maps
A little used feature in Google Maps is the star option that appears on the information window for places and venues. If you click on the star you can save or 'favorite' the location.
Starring a place is a great way to bookmark locations and venues. For example, when I'm visiting somewhere I usually scope out restaurants and places to visit and bookmark the locations by 'starring' them on Google Maps.
Google Maps has now unveiled a new My Places tab on Google Maps, which helps you quickly view and interact with your bookmarked locations. If you click on the new My Places tab you can quickly find all your starred locations as well as any My Maps that you have created.
