Earth Science Discovery with Google Maps
Reverb is NASA's Earth science discovery tool.
Reverb uses Google Maps as part of its search interface for discovering Earth Science data. Using the Google Map it is possible to search using a number of spatial tools. The tools allow you to search for Earth science data by bounding box, selecting a point on the map or by drawing a polygon on the area you wish to search.
It is possible to refine the search by date or to use a text based search. The dataset results of each search are automatically loaded into the 'Step 2' box beneath the map. A third step allows users to select granules from the dataset selected in Step 2.
