Location, Location, Location
UK real estate website Rightmove has released a Google Maps search tool called Draw a Search.
The tool allows house hunters to draw an outline on a map to define an area that they wish to search for properties within. Once users have drawn their search area they can save it, for future searches. They can also receive e-mail alerts when properties that meet their criteria turn up within that defines area.
The tool really allows house hunters to search exactly the locations where they wish to live. For example, it allows users to define an area within a certain distance around their workplace, if commuting times are an important factor in their search.
