Google have added the option to share a Google Map with your Google+ account. If you now browse Google Maps whilst you are logged into a Google account you have the option to share your current map view.
By pressing the 'Share' button in the Google account toolbar at the top of the page (when you are browsing Google Maps whilst logged in to your Google account) you can share the current map view on Google+ and add a comment. In Google+ a small static map will appear in your stream, as will your accompanying message.
